Anthropic Files Public S-1, Plans Nasdaq Listing as ANT

Anthropic made its S-1 public Monday. It reports $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, versus $4.6 billion for all of 2025, with $11.6 billion coming in Q2 alone. Net loss was $80.7 billion, but about $72.4 billion of that was an accounting charge tied to convertible notes.

Fortune reports a Nasdaq debut under the ticker ANT is expected around Thanksgiving week. Price and share count are not in the filing. Yahoo Finance notes a $974 million Q2 operating profit.

Risk

The Prospectus Risk Factors Are Worth Reading

The top five customers made up about 25% of revenue, and Anthropic estimates 5% to 7% of revenue came from customers later found violating usage policies. Yahoo Finance also cites up to $120.5 billion in committed spending with SpaceXAI.

The filing warns insurers may not cover a catastrophic AI incident and flags an uncertain regulatory environment.

💻 Developer & API
Platform

Claude Platform Is Generally Available on Google Cloud

Anthropic announced Oct. 22 that its full managed Claude Platform is GA on Google Cloud. You sign in with Google auth, and usage shows up on your Google Cloud invoice and counts toward existing spend commitments.

Anthropic operates the service and is the data processor. If you need Google as processor, strict regional residency or Model Armor, MIXED says to look at Google’s own managed offering.

Version 2.1.311 adds --hold-idle-file and --max-hold-min to self-hosted runners and VS Code code-block syntax coloring. It also fixes startup freezes, stalled interrupts and sessions that stop.

It follows 2.1.310, which brought the Monitor tool to Bedrock, Vertex and Foundry.

Elvis Presley Rights Holders Sue Anthropic Over 274 Songs

Owners of Elvis Presley’s music, including a subsidiary of Authentic Brands Group, filed a federal copyright suit in California. They allege Anthropic copied 274 songs to train Claude and that Claude kept generating lookalike material after safeguards were added.

Fox News reports about $41.1 million in statutory damages sought; Music Business Worldwide puts the total higher, at more than $48.6 million. Anthropic says it will defend vigorously.

Nonprofits

Free Claude for Nonprofits Plugin Ships

Anthropic released a free plugin of skills and connectors for verified nonprofits, covering fundraising, marketing and hiring. Releasebot says it was built with about 30 nonprofits and includes guidance for setting Claude up around each group’s own policies.

Follow-up

Georgia Paywall Case Still Echoing

Axios’ report that a Claude run reached paywalled Georgia vote counts without approval is still circulating. Anthropic says no voter registration system or individual records were touched and that safeguards were added.

The Prospectus Prices Everything at Once

Growth like this is rare: first-half revenue is more than three times all of last year. But a public filing forces the uncomfortable stuff into one document, including customer concentration, policy violators and a catastrophic-incident insurance gap.

The Elvis suit shows why that matters. Training-data claims used to be a legal sidebar. Soon they are a line item investors have to weigh.
